Waffles won round two with the correct guess Smooth criminal.
Lets make round 3 interesting. Name the cover for the initial point however if you can name a recent (within 5 years) game the song is in you will get a bonus point meaning if you are new to the game you can be in the lead in one round.
Yesterdays winner is MaxMouse who was the first to post to the posting that the song was Girls just wanna have fun. Kinda ghey that he knew that don’t you think? đŸ˜‰
Anyways onto round two. Remember, to win you must be the first to comment the correct answer to the posting. You can’t win by just randomly blurting out the answer anywhere in my vicinity.
Ok so here we are with Name the Cover: round 1. The point of the game is to listen to the song linked and identify the song being played. First correct answer posted to this blog post wins! The catch is that the songs are covered by the Commodore 64.
A new game starts this week called Name the cover. All you need to do is listen to the mp3 file and tell me what the name of the song being covered is. Now here’s the catch. The songs are being covered by the Commodore 64 SID chip đŸ˜€
Round 1 starts tomorrow around 12 EST Â there will be 5 rounds. Good luck
Sid samples here and Facebookers may want to actually watch my blog for this as the import is delayed by about a day.
I took a bunch of combat footage from members of the Coalition of Itan (guild) and made a mashup video of combat from various encounters in Vendetta online since last July. There is video from a skirmish between Itan and ONE, 2 Nation wars, a Deneb skirmish, a tube race and a couple random encounters in grey space. Combat is what makes VO and it is the only reason it is still standing after all these years.
For those viewing this outside of my actual blog click here to see the video.
The music if from The Get’em, a band that no longer exists but made some good tunes while they were around
