September 29th was when I released the first public version of Facebook CommentsTNG and the plugin has grown very quickly in the last month. I thank everyone for the positive feedback and bug tracking to help make the plugin better!
So, this hockey season has started off pretty shitty for the leafs so far. 0-5-1 I believe it is currently *checks* yup, that’s it. What. The. Fuck. Anyways I have been following the games just hoping, hoping for a win and I have been disappointed six times already. I thought last year was a rebuilding year, why rebuild into a shittier team. What is frustrating is that they shouldn’t be shitty by the numbers but they are!
Anyways, onto the point of this post
After the 6th loss I went to sleep as normal and I had a dream. A dream that the leafs actually won. Not a cup or anything JUST A GAME. It is pretty fucking sad when the only place your team wins at all is in a dream. When I woke up I was more disappointed than I was after watching the game. This will be the 5th consecutive season my jersey has hung in the closest unworn. I will continue to hope things turn around and I hope to god they do but at the moment I am not happy.
A new beta WordPress for Blackberry has been released. This one adds support for Gravatars, multiple languages and replying to comments (yay! 🙂 )
The replying to comments is the big one for me because I have been using the app to approve comments on the go for my Facebook CommentsTNG support but not to answer as it was a complicated and slow process. Now it seems to be easier and faster to answer back so that is good and I will be making use of it! The Gravatar support is a neat feature too, not needed of course to get the job done but still neat!
However! It is slow as heck. Sure I am using the old first gen Pearl but still!
To be fair though, once the application was being used and I assume it had updated its local caches on my device it did seem faster than the previous beta so kudos the WordPress for Blackberry team! I look forward to your continued updates.
My birthday cake
So it was my birthday last Tuesday and Susan threw me a party, the first I had had in about 9 years! Thanks Suebabe! I’m Gettin’ old. Had a few people down to the ol trailer park for a bbq and beers to celebrate the times. Chips, burgers, beer the usual stuff and then comes in the cake. My Mother in law had ordered me a special cake made after the best logo ever. The cake underneath the colourful shell was chocolate with peanut butter filling. Good stuff. I’d like to thank Linda for the cake and Cliff and Linda for the use of the deck for the get together and also everyone who came out. I’d also like to thank Amanda for making the cake, it was quite tasty and very pretty 🙂
What could they be hiding? Have you noticed this when browsing a blog or profile of a supposed photographer?
Why take such wonderful pictures of the world and make it your goal not to be in it?
The only reason I bring attention to this issue is because I have been faced with this mystery photographer dilemma several times over the past year specifically. It is like there is either an outbreak of would be photographers or it is cool to be secretive. Well it isn’t cool. Identify yourselves immediately you Earth stalkers! Unless of course you’re fuck ugly. That’s the other side of the coin which is someone seeking corrective action against their low self esteem by taking beautiful photos of their surroundings. This conclusion is more likely to be the true reason for this. It’s also similar to going on Facebook and someone has a picture of their teddy bear or some cartoon. Lame.
Well I have one thing to say to that. Quit being so damn vain, no one cares! Be yourself.
